Golden Curls Ranch is proud to become a llama breeder. Our objective in breeding llamas is to provide fine llama fiber and wool, to provide llamas for use in therapy, and to provide llamas for protection of ranches and farms.

Llama wool is prized by spinners, weavers and crafters for its warmth and softness. The variety of natural colors and the absence of lanolin are other qualities found in llama hair.

Llamas provide excellent therapy because they are naturally intuitive and curious with new people. Llamas are gentle creatures and seem to be aware of others' needs and can bring out the personality of the shyest person.

Llamas can provide economical predator protection for ranches and farms. Llamas are becoming well known for their ability to protect against coyotes.
